I am extremely proud and honored to say that I have been a Knapp Academy parent for 7 years now. I have 3 children attending this awesome school. Our school is outstanding both academically and morally. The teachers and staff are passionate and have great respect for our students and parents.
One of the great things about Knapp is how involved parents are with their children and their education. That is so important in order for our children to be successful. I love the fact that each month our children are recognized for the monthly virtue and how well they are doing academically. It is great for their self esteem and challenges them to do even better.
One of the greatest concerns we have as parents is the safety of our children. At Knapp, We have recently installed a new electronic sign-in system that allows the staff to track visitors that enter our school, whether volunteering to help in a class or to attend an assembly. We also have between 1-4 dads participating daily in a new program called WATCH D.O.G.S. It stands for Dads Of Great Students. This program gets dads more involved with school and the safety of our students. It is comforting to know that our kids are in a safe environment.
I look forward to another 7 great years with Knapp Academy.
